Milford.Patch.com reports that Democrat Ben Blake won Milford's mayoral election on Tuesday with 57 percent of the vote, according to unofficial numbers released at 8:55 p.m.
The Waterbury Republican-American reports that former city top cop Neil M. O'Leary is the next mayor. Preliminary results show the Democrat unseated Michael J. Jarjura, a five-term incumbent and former Democrat turned Republican. O'Leary was ahead by 375 votes with eight of 23 polling places reporting when Jarjura conceded.
